Major Projects

Since 1993, MMI has completed over 2,500 projects; including anchor watches, pipeline crossings, hazard surveys, hot taps, mechanical repairs, pipeline tie-ins, pipeline jetting, riser installations, platform inspections, cable lay and burial, hydrotesting and pigging, emergency pipeline repairs, hurricane damage, anode retrofit, and salvage.
 
MMI has supplied welding, AUT, and coatings inspections, as well as Chief Inspection services on pipeline and fabrication projects. MMI has also inspected SPAR facilities, PLETs, PLEMs, meter skids, interconnecting pipe, and piggable "WYE" connectors for fabrication and testing.
 
Pipeline system projects include Tahoe, Destin, Odyssey, Ram Powell, Mensa, Mars, Ursa, Amberjack, Genesis, Enchilada, Auger, Manta Ray, Manatee, Allegheny, Troika, Na Kika, Horn, Bombax, and Aspen.
 
MMI has provided inspection services in Mexico, Trinidad, Grand Cayman, plus Zafiro (2003), Xikomba (2003), and Kizomba (2004) projects in West Africa.

Following Hurricane Katrina, MMI conducted post inspections plus platform inspections and salvages for Newfield, BP, Taylor, Samson, and Wild Well.

MMI reviews crossing agreements, diving and ROV procedures, and general construction procedures for contract compliance, safety concerns and project efficiency.
